This book should be distributed by the hospital/midwife/birthing center each time a boy is born. It’a a great resource for all parents, but especially for single mom’s trying to fill a double role. I love this book! It has been excellent in helping me understand and train my 4 boys, now ages 5-15. One of my favorite bits of the down to earth, practical advice is the “youngest able, oldest available” guideline. It is a great reminder that the older ones should not be doing everything and that I need to spend time training the younger ones, so they have the same skill set as the olders as they grow up!
