Description
Glass was known to be made in ancient Egypt, but it wasn’t until the 1500s that artisans began to etch glass to decorate it. Our glass etching kit will teach you to customize any glass object you wish.
Contains:
Etching Cream – This cream clings to the glass and etches the patterns. Use ONLY as directed.
Stencils & Tools – Includes an assortment of Rub N Etch Stencils, a stencil knife, and tape.
Applicators – Use the included brush or popsicle stick applicators to apply the etching cream to the glass after stencil.
Glass – Includes a glass project, ready to etch.
Warnings and Safety Supplies – In order to actually etch the glass, etching cream contains strong chemicals that can be dangerous. An adult must supervise use by teens. Use the included safety glasses and re-usable vinyl gloves. Do not get it on your skin or in your eyes, nose, or mouth. Injuries may not be immediately painful, but still be serious. Keep out of reach of children at all times! Work on a piece of cardboard to protect furniture. Your crate can be used for this.

This looks like an amazing kit! In fact, all of these kits look great. With so much junk available to our teens, these kits seem like a welcome breath of fresh air. If I don’t win a kit I may just have to purchase one (or more) for my son. 🙂
